Assessment method
of natural water pollution The method has been developed at the It is meant for express-determination of the natural water
suitableness for drinking-industrial needs under the supposed chloral-,
sulfate-, - nitrate and other types of water pollution with industrial,
agricultural and domestic pollutants (industrial wastes, sewage, fertilizers,
the results of industrial and transport failures and so on). The method can §
be used while prospecting,
assessing, and controlling the quality of drinking-industrial sources of
water supply, §
help make express-tests for
pollution of subsoil, river and lake waters during geo-ecological,
hydro-geological and geological researches, §
help to make maps of pollution of
sub-surface waters and find the causes of pollution. The method is recommended to be used
in laboratories of sanitary-epidemiological, industrial control of water, in
scientific-research organizations. To assess the degree of pollution the coefficient is used K3 = (CO – 0,5HCO3)/HCO3 where CO –
is a dry remainder, HCO3 is concentration of hydro-carbonate ion
in a sample of water, taken from a water station. The method allows to reduce the number of analysis
while controlling the quality of water, necessary to assess the component
composition, which influence organic-leptical indices. Reduction of labour
consumption and of re-agents, increase of productivity, cause the reduction
of analyses costs by 5-7 times on one water test for sanitary-epidemiological
and industrial laboratories. The method has been tested at the We offer rights, knowledge and experience of
research and production nature. Enterprises and organizations interested in objective scientific
data, or in the study of the influence of polluting factors of their own industries or their competing
enterprises can get research and engineering services based on contracts. |
