Microporous ceramic diaphragms and the technology of their
manufacturing
Membranes can be used as filters
in chemical and food industries, medicine, bio-technology
and other productions under normal and tangential filtration, they allow
regeneration with acid and weak alkali solutions and high-temperature
processing. Filtering elements consist of porous ceramic
support and a membrane layer and are produced in the form of discs, plates,
pipes and in other forms as well. The support is formed of oxides of
aluminum, silicon, and their modifications, a membrane layer is made of
glass-ceramics. Membrane production
technology consists of drifting a membrane layer on the
support, drying and kilning the article. The use of a special suspension
makes the technology different from all others, and guarantees high quality
of membranes and filtering elements. Technical
