Non-soluble plasma-chemical technology of fiber-fabric materials dying and modyfying

  • in textile industry to obtain bright and strong colours of various fiber-fabric materials, to give them decorative, waterproof or hydrophilic properties, resistance to acids, alkalis, organic solvents, fireproof property
  • Technology features Materials processing with the given technology results in formation of modified diffused layers and is carried out in the active gas phase created by an electron-beam, plasma-chemical methods
  • Advantages
    - The exclusion of painting solutions use and other liquid technological media and their replacement with the gaseous ones eliminates the most power-consuming operation of drying and allows to use more dyes
    - The exclusion of painting solutions use and other liquid technological media makes the technology ecologically safe
    - The penetration of a dye deep into the material results in durability of colouring increase
    - The possibility of producing of several functional layers within one cycle (decorative, protective, waterproof)
    - The reduction of the processed fabrics wetting by 300 times with the preservation of gas permeability
    - Use of polymers, organic dyes, etc. as covering material
    - The possibility of processing of fabrics of polyamide, polyester fibers, silks, wool, cotton, flax, paper, other fiber-fabric materials, optical polymers

    - Dye consumption up to 1 % on a fabric weight.
The experimental equipment has been made, which processes fabrics with 1800 mm of width at a speed of up to 10 m / minutes.
The equipment is protected by the patents of Republic of Belarus.
The technology is a team-work of the Educational establishment "Gomel Francisk Skorina state university" and the Educational establishment "Belarus university of transport"
