More than a hundred of specialists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Georgia came to the International scientific and practical conference “Actual issues of the Earth sciences within the concept of steady development of Belarus and bordering countries” that was opened on November 10, 2017.

The Conference was attended by undergraduates, master’s degree students, postgraduates and young scientists – representatives of various lines of geosciences: ecology, geology and geography, meteorology, mineralogy and the others.

The researchers discussed the issues of the local and regional geology and hydrogeology, geology of oil and gas, problems of mineral deposits, eco-geology and management of natural resources; touched on the sectors of climatology and geomorphology.

Role of geosciences should be comprehended within the frame of humanity development. They are able to provide future of mankind, it survival and balanced development of the community.
