The response for this question was discussed during the seminar of the same name on country study organized by DAAD Information Centre with the assistance of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and Belarusian trade and economics University of consumer cooperatives within the frame of Days of Germany in Belarus.

The seminar devoted to the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation was attended by Ambassador of Germany to Belarus Peter Dettmar, Head of DAAD Information Centre in Minsk Kerstin Muller, DAAD lecturers and the representatives of Gomel universities. Francisk Skorina Gomel State University was represented by Rector Sergey Khakhomov, members of International Affairs department, lecturers and students.

The guests were presented an opportunity to listen the reports on Martin Luther’s mission, modern tendencies of public, culture and economic life of Germany and took part in a cultural performance.
