Head of the Department of political science and sociology Elena Abramenko took part in the 49th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia on the issues of making joint programmes of the Union State and harmonisation of legislation on ensuring equal civil rights.

The session was attended by representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia. Among the priority joint programmes are economic projects that foster favourable conditions for businesses, as well as programmes aimed at strengthening the scientific potential of the Union State.
