Nowadays statistical analysis is applied in many spheres of life. Mathematical statistics allows revealing the trends and ties between the phenomena invisible for the first sight. This science can be applied in economics, medicine, psychology and others spheres of life. However, different kinds of sport, especially games-based sport, such as football, baseball, ice-hockey, basketball are not accustomed to apply statistical analysis. But nowadays a number of estimation methods have moved from economy to football, baseball and ice-hockey. Trainers and scout have been given an opportunity to get a more detailed estimation of the gamers’ potential. Anyway, any sport is based on the numbers: how many score points are gained, how many fields are won.

Masters’ degree student of GSU Department of the cybernetics and the theory of chances Andrey Galkovsky has been developing the after-match statistics of Belarusian Premier League on football, using statistical data starting from 2015 as a basis for the investigation. Andrey has analyzed the factors for after-match statistics and their influence over the score during a football match, and designed an arithmetic model based on these factors both for a championship and a particular team, so that any trainer can project or change his game model and strategies in accordance with gained information. The same approach can be applied to the statistics of every sportsman, so his effectiveness during the game can be counted easily.
