Project MOST at Warsaw School of Economics

Assistant professors of GSU Department of Economic theory and World economy A.M. Baranov and E.A. Zapadnyuk visited Warsaw School of Economics (Poland) with financial support from the European Union project “MOST”.

MOST (Mobility Scheme for Targeted People-to-People-Contacts/ Программа мобильности для целенаправленных межличностных контактов).

The representatives of Gomel State University found a ready welcome of their colleagues from Poland: Doctor of Economics, Professor Jacek Prokop; Associate Professor at the Department of Transport in Higher School of Economics in Warsaw, Doctor of Economics Yana Peregud; Professor of Institute of World Economics of the Polish-German Academic Forum Juergen Wandel; Assistant Professor of the Department of Economics and Finances Zbigniew Grzymala and Professor of the Department of Applied Economics Marek Garbicz.

During the scholars developed a project agreement between Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and Warsaw School of Economics, attended a number of lectures on history of economics and economic theories of famous professors from Poland. On October 4, 2017 A.M. Baranov and E.A. Zapadnyuk took part in the Opening Ceremony of the new Academic Year held by President of Poland Andrzei Duda at Warsaw School of Economics.
