Results of joint projects of Belarusian and Moldavian physical scientists can make an important contribution into industry of both countries, as was stated by Professor Emil Russo, a representative of the Ghitu Institute of Electronic Engineering and Nanotechnology. At the official meeting with GSU administration they summarized the outcomes of two-year’ cooperation, analyzed the results of the joint project on solar energy and outlined new research and development strategies. Within the frame of his official visit to GSU Professor Russo gave a lecture to the students of the Faculty of Physics and Information Technologies concerning the latest achievements in the sphere of electrophysical properties of materials for solar energy. The scientist drew attention to keen interest of the students in physics – the basis of modern professional training of engineers and technicians.
