Temporary Charge d'affaires of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Republic of Belarus Paul van Oostveen visited Francisk Skorina Gomel State University within the framework of his business trip across the regions of Belarus.

“This summer we opened the Embassy Department in Minsk. The tour across the regions was projected with a view to the inner life of your country, comprehend the peculiarities of national mentality and examine the higher education system.

During the meeting at the rector’s office Sergey Khakhomov focused on the interaction of GSU with foreign universities. Rector told about the main directions of international cooperation, international projects and programs realized at our University.

“GSU is a classical university. It provides professional training at a number of applied and abstract sciences. Our University is open to partnerships and contacts with foreign educational institutions”, Professor Khakhomov stated.
