The meeting of GSU administration and the guests from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg was held within the framework of International Summer Ecology School “Ecological problems, environment protection and land-utilization within the frame of ecological and socio-economic problems of the radioactive contaminated areas of the Republic of Belarus”. Doctor of geological science, Professor Viktor Rudsky, who used to work as a professor of the University in Germany and now reads lectures and performs seminars in Moscow, and Doctor of geological science, Professor Manfred Fruehauf came to take part in academic exchange program. Professor Manfred is the Head of the eco-geology Department of Halle-Wittenberg University. Guests from Germany and Moscow and the Summer Ecology School attendees were invited to the tour across Polesie State Radiation Ecological Reserve. The students visited Gomel radiobiological institute, Republican Centre of nuclear medicine and ecology, Gomel Palace and Park ensemble. Lectires were given by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Victor Averin, PhD in Law, Associate Professor Alexander Grahotsky, Doctor of Economy, Professor Boris Sorvirov and other professors of our University.
