Currently our PhD student of Department of Theoretical Physics Sergei Fialka undertakes a six-month internship in Slovak Technological University of Bratislava (STUBA) organized within the framework of international programme. The student is engaged in theoretical and experimental researches in the field of photonic crystals and proceeds with his thesis. The study curriculum is agreed upon by both supervisors – Dr. Martin Weis (from Slovak University) and associate professor of Department of Theoretical Physics V.N. Kapshaj (from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University).
