Hemholtz International Summer School “Nuclear Theory and Astrophysical Applications” was organized at the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics (BLTP) of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR, Dubna, Russia) from July 10 to July 22, 2017. Gomel State University was represented by the senior lecturer of the Department of Theoretical Physics S.A. Lukashevich and the students of the Faculty of Physics and IT A. Buzhan, A. Tolkachev, K. Bondar. V. Lisovsky, K. Kopertekhov.
More than 80 participants from all over the world were invited to the Summer school: Poland, Italy, France, Slovakia, Germany, USA, Cuba, Romania, China, India, Great Britain, Armenia, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. Lectures of the leading scientists were presented at this meeting.
The participants visited the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions (FLNR) and the accelerator complex NICA.
The guests were invited to see the ballet “Bayaderka” at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow within the frame of the cultural programme.
International partnership between the Francisk Scorina Gomel State University Faculty of Physics and IT and the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research will continue, providing collaborate scientific research and international students exchange.
