The International Scientific and Methodological seminar «University Educational Experience in Modern Europe» with participation of a doctoral student of Bologna University (Italy), philosopher Gleb Maslov was organized in the center «Patriotics» at the Department of Russian and World Literature on June 5, 2017.

G.Maslov undertakes his internship at the Department of Russian and World Literature within the framework of his research activities related to his thesis «Anthropology of Russian Symbolism in the Context of European Culture». The research visit was organized with organizational and methodological support of the Department staff members who exchange experience with the colleague from one of the oldest European universities founded in 1088.

Representatives of the University administration, specialists, teachers of the Faculty of Philology participated in the seminar. The exchange of opinions was useful for accumulating knowledge in the sphere of practical achievements and challenges of modern education and scientific sphere of Europe, relating standards and principles of educational process in Belarus with European colleagues` experience.

The seminar was proceeded by G.Maslov`s open lecture related to the topic of his thesis. The lecture was organized on June 2, 2017 for students and teachers of the Faculty of Philology. The listeners were fascinated to listen to the report and to participate in dialogue with the speaker concerning a whole range of humanitarian problems, such as symbolism nature, role of Russian literature in literary and public conscience of modern Italy, memory of World War II, etc.
