Francisk Skorina Gomel State University was among participants of the XIV Gomel Economic Forum which was held in Gomel on May 19, 2017. Within the framework of the principal economic event of the region our University presented its scientific achievements and investment propositions.

As the result of the Forum, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University signed an agreement with Kursk Academy of State and Municipal Service on network form of implementation of study programmes concerning part-time (including distant) learning on the second stage of higher education in partner universities. After the graduation there is a possibility to obtain a Master`s degree diploma in the sphere of state management and economics of the Common State.

During the Forum a trilateral agreement between Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Bryansk State Technical University and CJSC «Gruppa Kremnij EL» was signed. The cooperation aims at implementation of scientific research activities on the topic «Development of Composition of Sol-Gel Silicone-Dioxide Based Coatings and Measurements of its Electrical Physical Features Aiming at a Surface Planarization in Technology of Production of Integral Microcircuits».

In total about 700 representatives from 15 countries participated in the Forum.
