Head of the International Affairs Department Alexander Grahotsky and Head of the English Language Department Tatyana Pochinok held negotiations on the planning of the international cooperation agreement between Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and the Sam Houston State University (Texas, USA). Head of the Laboratory of International Cooperation Katerina Kabakhidze (Moscow City Pedagogical University), Professor Jim Heinz (Sam Houston State University) and Professor Bradley Hilgerd (University of Arts, Ecuador) participated in the negotiations.

The possibilities of implementing distance learning between the Belarusian and American universities, the publication of scientific works in English, as well as the organization of joint international educational projects with the participation of teachers and students of both universities were discussed. The participation of American colleagues in the International Scientific Conference "Actual Problems of Romance and Germanic Philology and the Foreign Language Teaching Methods " will be held on October 26, 2018 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
