On June 27-29, 2018, within the framework of the Erasmus + programme, a workshop was held at the University of Nicosia (Cyprus) on the project "Improvement of Master's Education in Physical Sciences in Belarusian Universities" ("Physics"), as well as the ninth workshop on the curriculum development for master students and approval of reports on the results of testing the disciplines of the spring semester.

The meeting was attended by more than 30 representatives from Belarusian universities, including Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, BSTU, BSU, as well as representatives of the Leuven University (Belgium), Riga Technological University (Latvia), the University of Nicosia, the Belarusian Physical Society and the Republican association of nanoindustry.

Associate Professor of the Department of General Physics, Andrey Samofalov, Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical Physics Oksana Deryuzhkova, Head of the Information Technologies Center Alexander Kupo and Senior Lecturer of the English Language Department Tatyana Lozovskaya took part in the workshop, where Andrei Samofalov made a report on the interim results of the participation of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University in the Erasmus + programme.
