A correspondent agreement was signed between State Chancery on promotion of Chinese language abroad (Hanban) and our University.

Nanjing University of Science and Technology, our partner since 1995, initiated the establishment of Confucius Institute at GSU.

Global network of Confucius Institutes embraces international cultural and educative centres established for popularization of Chinese language abroad. It will be the fourth Institute of such type in Belarus, the other three already function at Minsk universities.

Establishment of Confucius Institute in our region will stimulate wider spread of Chinese culture, development of cross-university cooperation, strengthening of Chinese-Belarusian fellowship.
