On June 7, the XVIII International Scientific Conference ICDSIAI'2018 (International Conference on Data Science and Intelligent Analysis of Information), which took place on the campus of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky", was finished in Kiev.

Representatives of scientific and educational institutions of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, USA, India, Great Britain, New Zealand and Singapore took part in the work of a large international scientific forum. The main goal of the conference was to unite researchers working in the field of data science in all its fields. Particular attention was paid to theoretical developments in methods and algorithms of data mining and their applications (Big Data, artificial neural networks).

Scientific direction of theoretical robotics at the conference from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University was represented by the Head of the department of mathematical problems of management and informatics, doctor of technical sciences, professor V.S. Smorodin, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor E.I. Sukach and assistant of the Department of Mathematical Problems of Management and Informatics, Ph.D. Prokhorenko.
