Belarusian-Chinese scientific and technical seminar is held at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University on June 11 – 13, 2018.

Representatives of the Nanjing University of Science and Technology and the University of Jiangnan (Wuxi City) arrived to present their research results at Gomel State University. The forum is also attended by scientists from GSU who conduct joint scientific work with colleagues from China.

Rector of the University Sergey Khakhomov opened the meeting with a presentation about Gomel State University, its history, achievements and international cooperation. Scientific reports presented by the participants were focused on the fundamental and applied aspects of modern materials science, research in the field of physical and chemical properties of nano- and metamaterials, studying the structure and properties of nanocomposite polymer coatings, materials processing technologies.

Participants of the seminar discussed proposals on the commercialization of joint developments, their effective use at industrial enterprises in Belarus and China, identified promising areas for the development of the Belarusian-Chinese partnership in the scientific sphere.
