Head of the department of the history of Belarus, candidate of historical sciences, docent Oksana Yaschenko was invited to the University of Vienna (Austria) to deliver lectures about urban culture of Belarus from May 7 – 16, 2018. Students of the Institute of Slavic studies attended the lectures followed by presentations in English. The main discussion was devoted to the issues of urban culture and daily life of the Belarusians in XX c. and involved implementation of modern teaching technologies and methodological support.
