Seminar on the project FOSTERC

Seminar on the international project “Fostering Competencies Development in Belarusian Higher Education” took place in from April 16 – 20 within the frames of ERASMUS+ programme in the University of Turku (Finland), where the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus, 5 foreign and 11 Belarusian educational establishment partner institutions.

The University of Turku is the second largest University in Helsinki. It was established in 1920 and has faculties at Rauma, Pori and Salo. More than 2000 foreign students study at the Master’s degree programmes.

The representatives of GSU took part in the seminar: Dean of the Faculty of psychology and pedagogy V.A. Beizerov, Associate professor of the Department of theory and methodology of physical culture M.G. Coshman, Associate professor of the Department of Psychology V.N. Dvorak. A number of current issues was discussed during the seminar, concerning the European implementation experience of various types of competence study programmes, development of capabilities and mechanisms of innovative approaches in teaching and training, sharing the best practices in realization of the learner-centered approach in education.
