Delegation from “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati headed by Rector Iulian Gabriel Birsan visited Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The meeting was initiated by the guests in order to extend international cooperation in the sector of higher education.

Within the course of the meeting the parties shared information on the major tendencies of development at the universities, focused on peculiarities of the study process and research activities and shared experience of cooperation with foreign higher education institutions.

Discussion of the possible variants of cooperation between GSU and University of Galati became the key point of the meeting. The signed agreement of academic cooperation and exchange involves interrelationships on various levels - from students and staff exchange on out to organization of joint research work.
