The annual international seminar «Auschwitz in teaching» was held in Oswiecim for the period from February 13 to February 17, 2017. The event was organized with assistance of a German charity organization assisting former prisoners of concentration camps and ghetto in Eastern and Central Europe «Maximilian-Kolbe-Verk». 24 teachers from Germany, Austria, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and Belarus participated in the event aiming at competence development of teachers of History, Politology and Religious Studies. Head of International Affairs Department A.P.Grahotsky participated in organization and conduction of the seminar where he presented reports «Culture of remembrance of World War II in Central and Eastern Europe countries», «Belarusian-German projects on commemoration of victims of World War II».
