The meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to People’s Republic of China Kirill Rudy and GSU Vice-Rector for Science Oleg Demidenko with Rector of Sichuan University (Chengdu) Li Yanrong.

During the meeting, agreements were reached on signing a cooperation agreement between Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and Sichuan University, including opening of the Center of Belarusian language and culture at the Chinese University and organization of a summer school for Chinese students at GSU.

Oleg Demidenko took part in the meeting of Kirill Rudy and Mayor of Chengdu, where the issues of cooperation between Gomel region and Sichuan province were discussed.

Vice-Rector participated in the summit for Chinese residents of the "Great Stone" Industrial Park. Belarus was represented by the Deputy Minister of Economy Pavel Utyupin, Head of administration of the "Great Stone" Industrial Park Alexander Yaroshenko.
