Students` training activities «Physics» «Improvement of master-level education in the field of physical sciences in Belorussian universities» were organized within the framework of project «Improvement of master-level education in the field of physical sciences in Belorussian universities» in Ostend, (Belgium) for the period from February 6, 2017 till February 11, 2017. The training activities for Belarusian students were organized by teacher and staff members of Technological campus of Leuven University. 14 representatives of 4 Belarusian universities participated in these activities. They were students, Master`s degree and PhD students from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Yanka Kupala Grodno State University, Belarusian State University and Belarusian State Technological University. Francisk Skorina Gomel State University was represented by Master`s degree student of the Faculty of Physics A.S.Rysukin, students of group FE-51 E.V.Garmilin and F-36 I.S.Michalko. Associate professor of Department of Theoretical Physics O.M.Deruzhkova accompanied them. The primary purpose of the training activities was to enhance the students` level of spoken and scientific English, as well as implementation of methods of scientific and technical study at the Faculty of Technologies of Leuven University. During a week the students` activities were organized in accordance with an extensive curriculum which included observation of scientific and study laboratories of a technological campus. Students eagerly participated in laboratory demonstrations in the sphere of optics, lasers, optic fiber, alternative forms of energy (solar and wind energy, etc.). A scientific and technical laboratory session on investigation of materials properties and production of biodiesel was held under a teacher`s supervision. Visit to scientific-research light laboratory and CNH (New Netherlands) agriculture vehicles industrial company (Bruges) was of particular interest and use. One of the classes was dedicated to practical application of virtual spheres of study. Conduction of scientific and technical field measurements of wind speed and its influence on dunes organized on the North Sea turned out to be the most remarkable. All the goals set in the training curriculum were achieved. The students were given an opportunity to enhance their professional and personal levels.
