A meeting of the university leaders with a delegation from China, who came to participate in the solemn ceremony, was organized a short time before a landmark event – opening of Confucius Institute at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

This meeting was devoted to the coordination of the visit programme, discussion of the ceremony plan and details and the schedule of the following session for the Council of Confucius Institute.

The guests expressed their gratitude to the university administration for their warm welcome, noted that the cooperation between Gomel and Chinese universities had reached a new level. They expressed confidence in development of friendship and partnership leading to more active extension of scientific and cultural ties.
