On December 12 – 13, 2017 Minsk hosted the 2nd Meeting of scientists of Belarus. It was attended by 26 delegates from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University: representatives of various branches of science – physics, mathematics, economics, geology, genetics, biology, philology – took part in it.

The key point to be discussed is the strategy project “Science and technologies: 2018 – 2040”, that is focused on the priorities of the long-term development of science and technologies, as well as the complex of development instruments in this sector, that will ensure new quality of economic growth in Belarus.

As Vice-rector for science Oleg Demidenko stated, the Meeting is intended to coordinate the efforts of GSU scientists in accordance with the strategies and aims of the state.
