A seminar "Internationalization and Cooperation of Universities of Belarus and the USA" was held at the beginning of December in Vilnius. During the event heads of the international departments of Belarusian universities got acquainted with the opportunities of mutually beneficial partnership with American universities, internationalization strategies and mechanisms for attracting students from the USA to Belarusian universities.

The seminar was organized by the American Councils for International Education in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian embassies in Vilnius and the USA in Minsk. Francisk Skorina Gomel State University was represented by Alexander Grahotsky, Head of the International affairs office.
