Unique medical nanocoating developed at GSU
November 24, 2017

A unique nanocoating was developed by Gomel scientists, who created a vacuum technology for antibacterial coatings applying to medical products.

The finest layer - 100 times thinner than a human hair – owing to silver, copper and zinc nanoparticles it is possible to refuse antibiotic treatment and improve success of implants, heart valves and dentures. Antimicrobial coatings can be applied to any surfaces – from metal screws to surgical threads and gauze bandages.
