On May18, 2016 the Head of International Affairs Department A.P. Grahotsky participated in international seminar «Competence Development and University Curricula». The seminar was organized within the framework of Baltic Sea Region University Network (BSRUN) in Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.

Currently BSRUN embraces 31 Universities from 7 European countries (Finland, Spain, Russia, Poland, the UK, Latvia and Belarus). Francisk Skorina Gomel State University has been the full member of the Network since 2015.

Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, professor M.A.Zhuravkov and BSRUN President Kari Hypponen opened the seminar. Scientists and staff members of international affairs offices from the BSRUN member-universities participated in this event. The issues concerning the improvement of university curricula and universities internationalization were discussed in details throughout the seminar.
