Vice-rector for academic affairs I.V.Semchenko and Head of Scientific Research Laboratory of Perspective Materials V.E.Gaishun participated in the 5th Korean-Belarusian Scientific Technological Forum in Seoul on December 14.

Our scientists presented three reports on researches of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University staff members, listened to the reports of Korean colleagues and discussed possibilities of scientific cooperation and results implementation.

On December 13, before the Forum, Belarusian delegation visited Korean Institute of Aerospace Researches, Korean Institute of Modern Science and Technology, its research center of special technologies, as well as Korean Research Institute of Anatomic Energy situated in Daejeon which is 170 km south of Seoul. This is the 5th largest city in the country and is considered to be scientific and technical capital of South Korea.

Meeting at Seoul National University with participation of Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in South Korea was held on December 15. During the meeting possibilities of cooperation of the leading Korean university and Belarusian Universities in various spheres were discussed.
