Head of International Affairs Department A. P. Grahotsky and staff member of the department A.A. Konopleva participated in Contact Seminar dedicated to Erasmus+ programme projects organized by European Commission for Eastern Partnership countries on November 28-29 in Kiev. Representatives of more than 200 higher education institutions from 33 EU and Eastern Partnership countries participated in the seminar aiming at establishing direct contacts with representatives of European universities for further joint participation in Erasmus+ programme projects. Representatives of European Commission engaged in the projects implementation, as well as representatives of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine participated in the Opening session and were speaking about significance of participation in mobility projects, principles of cooperation between EU and Eastern partnership countries, present challenges in organization and coordination of projects and necessity of developing curricula in accordance with the Bologna process requirements. The participants had an opportunity to attend topical sessions and learn about the application procedure, principles of European Commission project coordination, as well as to exchange experience in the related area. During the seminar the participants were supposed to deal with practical tasks of specific directions (determine the relevance of a given application, level of cooperation and split of duties between consortium partners, development of problem-solving proposals, etc.). In order to promote contacts development between the participants so called «speed dating» sessions were organized – short-time discussions during which the participants could communicate with one another, tell about priority directions of their project activities, find mutual spheres of interest, determine areas of potential cooperation and exchange contact information. The seminar was organized in friendly atmosphere. The participants were eager to share experience in the sphere of mobility projects implementation. Our representatives established contacts with many international activities specialists who expressed their interest in cooperation with Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.
