Vice-rector on Scientific Affairs O.M. Demidenko represented Francisk Skorina Gomel State University at the BSRUN Plenary meeting. The meeting was organized at the University of Warsaw and brought together representatives of Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Finish, Polish, Russian and Belarusian higher educational institutions.

During this meeting Mr. Kari Hypponen was reelected President of the Steering Committee. The Deputy President is Vice-rector on International Affairs of Saint Petersburg State Economic University Dmitry Vasilenko.

The organizational issues concerning participation of Universities in new international TEMPUS and Erasmus+ programmes projects were discussed. The participants were eager to listen to the lecture on international rankings application, creation of carrier graduates` placement oriented centers, cooperation with employers. Such issues as previous activities with graduates, university reputation in mass media, significance of advertising for educational process were considered thoroughly.

During the consortium O.M. Demidenko had a whole range of meetings dedicated to further cooperation development with the BSRUN university members. Specifically, the visit of colleagues from Belostok State University to Francisk Skorina Gomel State University at the end of the year was discussed. The ties with Baltic Federal University named after Emmanuel Kant, Saint Petersburg State Economic University and Riga Technical University were established. Such goal as further development and strengthening of cooperation is planned to be achieved in future.
