Relevant and perspective theme of scientific researches dedicated to study of semi-conductive materials and its structure became a joint object of activities of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and Institute of Electronics and Industrial Technologies of Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Joint activities of Belarusian and Moldavian physicists are implemented within the framework of close cooperation between Academies of Sciences of both countries.

Recently the Moldavian representative, Head of Nanotechnologies Laboratory, Doctor of Techniques Emil Rusu visited our University, met with the Rector, Correspondent Member of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Alexander Rogachev, visited laboratories and departments of the Faculty of Physics, communicated with staff members of Scientif Research Laboratory «Physical Chemistry and Technologies of Micro- and Nanosized Sysytems», Basic Scientific-Research Laboratory of Perspective Materials.

As the Head of Basic Scientific-Research Laboratory, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, associate professor Vladimir Gaishun explained, the joint projects aims at development and production of nanostructured semi-conductive films which can be used in optoelectronics as active layers of solar elements, etc.

“Taking into consideration the fact that we have the same object of research, let`s compare the acquired materials, its characteristics and exchange opinions”, - says Emil Rusu. – “Moldova imports 90% of energetic resources, that`s why it is vitally important to search opportunities of adoption of alternative solar energy. I am sure that this project will contribute to it.”
